Ascot race Day

Ascot is coming to The School House. Join us on Wednesday 17th June 2026 in the Pavilion at The School House in Weeford, near Lichfield, from 12.00 noon onwards for a relaxed and lively race-day experience, complete with great food, entertainment and betting facilities.

It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of Ascot without the 300-mile round trip, long traffic queues or the hustle and bustle of the racecourse. Settle in, check over the race card and enjoy the day as it unfolds in comfort.

Guests will enjoy prosecco on arrival, a gourmet four-course lunch with choices, freshly prepared by our chef and served at 12.30pm. (Menu coming soon).

After lunch, relax and watch the racing on our large screen TV, with the opportunity to have a flutter using our fully functioning betting facility. If luck is on your side, celebrate your win with a bottle of chilled champagne.

Between races, enjoy live musical entertainment from Soul & Motown tribute artist James Mac, guaranteed to get toes tapping and add to the race-day atmosphere.

At approximately 3.30pm, a charity duck race will take place on Black Brook for all guests to enjoy.

Tony’s Ices will be serving ice-cream cones by the main patio between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

A £20 per person deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is payable by 1st June 2026.

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except if we are forced to cancel the event.
