What better way to relax and indulge than with a traditional afternoon tea at The School House? Enjoy fine food and personal service in a relaxed atmosphere. Our afternoon tea gift vouchers make a great present for that someone special.
Our afternoon tea features all the classics including finger sandwiches, cakes and your choice of tea, coffee or fruit infusions, £24.75 per person. You can make it extra special by adding a glass of Prosecco for £5.95 or Champagne for £10.00.
Overlooking beautiful countryside, with 5 private dining rooms, a sunny terrace and our restaurant; we are sure to give you the right setting for any occasion!
On to the food itself, which, as you might expect, is proudly traditional.
Sandwiches are fresh, crust-less, finger-sized and include home-cooked ham & Dijon mustard, cucumber with cream cheese, egg mayonnaise, crayfish with Marie rose sauce and local turkey with cranberry sauce.
The homemade fruit and plain scones are accompanied by lashings of traditional farmhouse clotted cream and strawberry preserve.
Your three-tiered stand has a spot reserved for a selection of freshly made cakes & pastries of differing varieties. Whatever your party can’t manage is boxed up for you to take home.
